With the pressures of running a large organisation, it is rare for higher profile business leaders to take time out and attend events. One of the major components of the Love Business East Midland's success was to engage with these leaders and provide them with a unique opportunity to meet and network with their peers.

With access to all areas the VIP's were able to walk the exhibition areas and could chat with the exhibitors and delegates. Many VIP's commented upon how they had realised the potential for new relationships from the relaxed engagement process. Commenting upon the fact that without badges declaring who they were they could walk around the event anonymously and review the businesses on show.
