That’s a Wrap for 2025 … and What an Expo it Was!!

Unmissable guest speakers, a giant teddy bear and a golden retriever … Love Business 2025 was a day to remember! Welcoming hundreds of delegates from across Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire and headline sponsored once again by the wonderful East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, we celebrated in style, all our East Midlands region has to offer.

A massive thank you to everyone that was involved in this year’s expo. As the first year of EMA Training’s management, this was nothing short of a huge team effort. The event continues to go from strength to strength with a whopping 30% of stands already sold for next years expo which is record breaking so soon after the event.

New for 2025, our Speaker Theatre Sponsor, ER Recruitment, put on an sensational line up of guest speakers including Tom Willday and Rob Moore, who both shared their experiences of starting a business in the East Midlands and growing into an International success. In addition, we welcomed the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Speaker Panel, hosted by Director of Policy and Insight, Richard Blackmore, and including local business leaders, Nikki Robson [Managing Director, Breedon Consulting], Dawn Whitemore [Chamber President and Principle of SMB College], Matt Bonser [Director, Purpose Media] and Nick Gall [Managing Director, NetMonkeys] who filled the theatre with wisdom and insight as they delved in to how businesses are adapting, upskilling and leveraging cutting edge technology to stay ahead in business.

The expo halls and upstairs café were fully booked with amazing exhibitors from across the region, showcasing the best that each county has to offer.

AK Wealth were our VIP Lounge Sponsor for 2025 who took the brief of ‘something a bit special’ and absolutely ran with it, as invited guests were treated to a delicious Indian cuisine, cocktails, mocktails and a live DJ!

Our entertainment Sponsor, Fancy Entertainment, who have supported the event for many years, welcomed everyone with stunning stilt walkers and set the celebratory theme from the moment visitors walked through the door. We were also super lucky this year to have several balloon displays from ‘Love Bubbles’, which added perfectly to the day.

There was a multitude of things to do at this year’s Expo, including visiting our Networking Sponsor, KuKu Connect, who offered a fantastic networking opportunity to meet new local contacts, share opportunities or to have a drink with a friend – nobody does it quite like KuKu!

Our Associate Sponsors, Marketing Derby, Cross Productions, FSB and Nachural, reached out to their impressive networks, bringing the best quality of delegate to the expo. Welcoming them was 2 MASSIVE luxury coaches from Roberts Travel Group – also an Associate Sponsor - and no-one left empty handed – our Print Sponsor, ‘The Printers’, produced hundreds of beautiful matte Love Business magazines filled with inspiring content for everybody to take away with them.

The buzz and atmosphere of the day was captured by our Digital Creative Sponsor, Chocolate Cake Media, who have expertly filmed the Love Business Expo for the last decade, producing first-class videos as a momentum of the day.

And, not to forgot the founders and ongoing supporters of the expo, Quiet Storm Solutions, who were a wealth of knowledge for us behind the scenes and continue to power the landscape of Love Business with their digital mastermind team!
